not so wordless Wednesday

     Ok..I have a confession to make. I'm one of "those people."  You know the kind, the one who loves to give gifts to a fault & always gets too much stuff for holidays.  I'm also guilty of not even being able to wait until said holiday. In this case , Saya's birthday, which is not for another 17 days .   Not that anyone is counting .   This time it was her water table that I had to give her. She LOVED it & in my defense we live in NY so summer time is limited . I wanted her to get the most use out of it. That's my story & I'm sticking to it ! :D

     I just can't help but, share yet more cute pictures of my squeaky ! In the 1st one she's got her Care Bears purse full of little care bear figures that she totes all over..She checks & rechecks to make sure that everyone is there..crisis will ensue if one is missing ..
I just think it's so neat that she's into some of the same stuff that I loved so much as a kid :D

Father's day

Today was Father's day & although my own father is gone . I was thankful to spend it w/ my husband & our daughter . I feel VERY blessed to have him as my husband & as my daughter's father! We did a steak dinner tonight for him & I got him some gifts . Saya even picked out a card of her own for him & drew an original drawing inside just for him :D ..She was so proud to give him that card. I just love having these moments as a family. 
I also made him a few scrapbook pages w/ pictures of him & Saya just to let him know how loved he really is ..
& I thought that I'd share them :D

Saya & I sure know how to have fun!  & yes I am a silly mommy!

Mason took these pictures of us playing tug of war w/ her little pink rabbit while we watched the bands at the St. Anthony's festival & waited for the fireworks. I expected that she wouldn't have liked the fireworks but, she LOVED them & has asked for "more sparklies " every day since then! :D

  My sweet squeaky is a huge fan of mommy's sunglasses & as you can see ..the little scamp looks way better in them than I do!

mommy, I wanna be a fire fighter...

Earlier today my sweet squeaky told me ....in quite a serious & lengthy manner...
"mommy, when I grow up I want to be a fire fighter & when granny grows up , she can be a firefighter too!!!"

I took this picture of squeaky just yesterday..& when I looked at it I realized that she isn't so much of a little baby anymore! Is it just me or does this kid have really long legs?
